And there are some broken teeth (one way or the other). But, like his compatriot Neil Gaiman, he brings the codes unique to comics and applies them to the novel. So, we have a very particular style that speaks to many. In the purely stylistic, these two authors are similar. After Neil Gaiman explores the fantasy while she prefers the real fantasy.
