Solve For R In An Annuity

F. Giroud & Bonin - Quintett "The story of Dora Mars

After the saga of the Decalogue with which Frank Giroud brought a fresh wind into the world of comics, the writer is waiting on his new project. Understand! After a project as insane, he could not imagine a story to delve into more basic.
Once again, this talented writer introduces us to one of his experiments. Just follow the fate of characters who have crossed into Macedonia during the First World War. What seemed important was not just some trivial for others. Their common thread? They are part of a musical quintet.

1916 Dora Mars is a cabaret singer trying to make something of his life through to the art of song. Everyone predicted for him a future, but nothing happens. She meets a Casanova who is armed with permission. A story full of love, deception and self-discovery begins. History seems to have implications far more recent times. But we know more with the last volume.

Frank Giroud proves once again that he is a master of the Franco-Belgian comics. While Van Hamme's hard to surprise and Giraud (Moebius) speaks to his retirement, he continues to explore patterns of original narrative. Once again, each album as a story in itself but all take a different dimension once the whole cycle completed. The suspense is well done. Result: we want to know the result immediately.
And then she comes in four volumes (logical for a quintet ..). Through volumes 2 to 4, we follow other protagonists of the event. Then, the last volume, entitled The Fall gives us the keys to everything. And it gives us the identity of the narrator. One last volume came out: an epilogue to close the loop.
