Electric Glock Bb Gun

David S. Khara - The remains of the dawn

All victims were in the same posture. Knees and hands tied behind their backs, they were executed with a bullet in the head. This is for all these dead men, well placed in society. Everyone sits in his power by his stature and his money. But they are nothing, they died. The sentence was final.
Barry Donovan is the New York cop who investigates the serial murders. He does not know where to go, what to track head. Then if there was that this investigation, things would still not too bad. But Barry is a man alone. It has not always been there but the became an accident of life. He lost everything. And like any man who has no personal life, he is drowning in work. In search of a few social connections, he got used to connect to the web. He expects the talks with his friend Werner Von Lowis.
Werner, he is old ... very old. Several centuries. It's rather simple, it is a vampire. And as such, he retired to his property underground. He believes not having the right to live among mortals. Only his discussions with Barry takes a little of his daily torpor. So when his friend speaks distractedly from his investigation, he decides to leave his cave and help. But the world today is not necessarily ready for a vampire. And the vampire is said may not be ready either to know the twenty-first century. And how will govern when Barry will know the secret of his friend? The assistance of Werner will be more problematic than saving. But the die is cast.

Yep! It's fashion for the past two years! We eat all of the vampire sauces. It's called the Bit-bed it seems! I call it fantasy literature. Nothing is invented, only a mixture of known ingredients. But this recipe is done with talent in the case of some authors.
So, I'll be honest. Starting this novel, I was afraid to read the already-read, little original. I was afraid to dive into a basic narrative. And I was wrong. David S. Khara has managed to spawn a novel surprise to all floors. First, he mixes the interests of the plot at all levels. Indeed, the survey is interesting and we want to understand why and how. But at a second level of reading, it follows the confrontation of the characters of our two main characters. All the objects. And yet, a friendship sincere and complex arises between them. A friendship that will save the life of one of them. Therefore, we are caught in the vortex until the last page.
And then a question arises: Why Werner was the only person to experience this rebirth? And I promise you that the next volume will be even more exciting. In any case, all the pieces are in place for this to be the case.
